This is for the DC Comics gallery project (work related)... This was one of my 2 contributions, the lovely Babs as BATGIRL. Done on 23" x 30" heavy art paper stock (pretty large piece). Again with the dark brush strokes, this one came out a bit more controlled after the Batman piece but, I still added the roughness of the japanese ink painting style. Ah making art the old school way, I love it! Enjoy Devs!

Thanks Bumble, I love doing the highlights last. Amazing how just a few stroke of white highlight can change the depth of the piece. Glad you likes! :)

Omg, she actually looks like a Girl yay. far to often females in comics look too manly in the face.

Sorry it's been a minute since I responded back to comments. But, thank you so very much for the compliment. I have to agree with your comment about manly female faces, sometimes it calls for it but, sometimes it doesn't. Keep watch, I might be doing more Batgirl piece in the future. :D

Hey Peng-peng! Thanks soo much for the wonderful comment. I want to do more of these large paintings, possibly try a more rough brush stroke next time. My rendition of Batgirl has gotten quite the attention, I'm soo modest about it. Check back soon I might have another painting coming up! :D
